Salon West is a Traverse City salon that was established in 1996 on West Front Street as a welcoming and local retreat. In 2025, the next generation of our family took over and moved everything to the new location on Hannah Avenue.

 

We have been providing outstanding custom hair styling, coloring, Sassoon cutting, curly haircuts, fine haircuts, and corrective services in Traverse City for over 40 years and many of our stylists have over 20-30 years experience. We are dedicated to helping you create easy, beautiful and wearable hair styles.

 

At Salon West, each stylist manages their own salon appointments and clients from start to finish. Your stylist is the first to greet you and the last to wish you well on your way out. At Salon West we keep things simple, so looking your best is a relaxing experience!

 

Salon West is a newly renovated salon with an array of experienced talent. It's a beautiful place with accessible private parking and serene views of Hull Park, Boardman Trails and Boardman Lake.
